As a native Californian, I was skeptical of Maine tacos. Service was good pace for lunch time on a Friday. The tacos were stuffed-like mini burritos (in all the right ways)! I had the Al Pastor and fish taco. Lost a star only because my fish taco was cold, but the crunch was still there. This was better than some of the taquerias in my home town! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The interior was tight, so if you're a group of 3+ watch the weather.

Absolutely nailed it. Bird & Co is a Mexican-inspired breakfast dream and then some. From the jump, the service was warm, dialed-in, and on point — the kind of place that makes you relax instantly because you know you’re in good hands.
Now the food? Zero misses. Everything we ordered, from the (shared) churro french toast, chimichnaga, huevos rancheros and the bird benny was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made by people who care. But let’s be real… the drinks low-key stole the entire show. The Mexican cold brew was the unanimous table favorite — bold, smooth, perfectly balanced, and honestly unforgettable. I’m still thinking about it.
It was the perfect final stop to wrap up our weekend in Portland before hitting the road home. If you’re in town and skip Bird & Co, that’s a you problem. We’ll 100% be back.

My partner and I ate here our first night in Portland after having been on the road for 10+ hours. We didn’t realize we had showed up not long before closing, but the staff were really kind about it. Great drinks and better tacos. If we were local, Bird & Co. would be a staple of our restaurant rotation. We left sad that we wouldn’t get to try the whole menu.

I had the opportunity to see Bird and Co's food truck service in all of its glory at a recent wedding. Taking care to make things aesthetically pleasing they made the most of the space with their set ups. They brought with them a sufficient team that made the work seem effortless they got the food ready and in place on time for the guests to enjoy. The food, from the chips to the main dishes taco bar and drinks were lovely. All of the guests were out of their seats for seconds and thirds. I don't think I have had a better more refreshing drink than their fruit/ veggie waters.(See Photos). All of this was accompanied by a youthful, kind, and fastmoving staff, managed by on scene professional leadership. You know you are about to have good food and are in good hands when that blue truck with the bird pulls up. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Bird and Co is one of our favorite date spots. Awesome tacos and margaritas at a super reasonable price. People are always nice. Get the California, Cubano, Tijuana, or Bahn mi tacos; they are incredible! Actually, all of their tacos are amazing, those are just my favorites. Spicy margarita is a must as well.
