Absolutely outstanding! A La Mexicana delivers on every level. The food is exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish tasted authentic and perfectly prepared. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. And the atmosphere tied it all together—warm, vibrant, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. This is the kind of restaurant that keeps you coming back. Easily one of the best dining experiences around. Highly recommend!

1st timers, recommended by a co-worker. Beautiful, clean location if you are a "50"s diner, feels a little out of place for an authentic Mexican restaurant. Service was very good. Beer was served with a very chilled glass. I had 3 huge chorizo tacos served with rice and beans. So big, that I struggled to finish them. Very impressive collection of hot sauces. I will definitely return to sample more of this large menu. Building sits off the road. I missed it and had to circle back. Update, went back twice for taco Tuesday. 1st time with shredded beef, this time for ground beef. These things are monsters for $2 each. You have to try these. Also, the special soup is tremendous. Get the small bowl, it's large enough for two. Looks like a half of a shredded chicken in it. Great, fast service. I love this place. Update, another year, same great food and service. $2 taco Tuesday still here. Tacos appeared slightly smaller, but still a great deal.

As somebody who has spent a lot of time in Mexican restaurants, I can’t say enough wonderful things about the place. We were greeted promptly by a very polite young man and showed to our table. Our server was super attentive and gave us just the right amount of time to order drinks while we nibbled on fresh, warm chips and homemade salsa. We ordered the nachos supreme as an appetizer. They were beautiful!! When my burrito molé entree came it was presented perfectly on a warmed plate. My friend got chicken enchiladas that were absolutely to die for. His wife ordered the chicken poblano.
At the end of the meal, nature called and this place went next level. The men’s room was impeccably clean. Butt (pun intended), the star of the show was the quality of the paper products. These weren’t the type your finger breaks through and you end up checking your prostate. Soft and supple is an understatement.
I can’t wait to return and, God willing, I get to go again. Rock on with your bad selves!!

Free chips and margarita we're a good start. Food was insane. Never been served such bad food. Veggie quesadilla with nothing besides microwaved American cheese. I told the waitress I saw expecting at least some veggies, not just beans and American cheese. Not generally picky, but I didn't even try to eat this. Feels like I just got scammed for $30 for canned beans and tomato sauce. Literally tasted more like ravioli than Mexican food. Wild experience...

What a cute place! The old diner is super appealing and inside a burst of color and life and great food for super cheap!
My daughter and I shared one entrée and one soda and we brought home another full meal from the leftovers! 25 bucks for the both of us and enough to feed her boyfriend with the leftovers!
The to-go box pictured is the leftovers! And my daughter and I were very hungry!!!!
